Acupressure is looked at as a less invasive approach to obtain the pain relief one can achieve from acupuncture. Deriving from the discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupressure is most effective in treating painful conditions - even chronic in nature. This form of relief may not work on everyone. It is actually thought that acupressure is only effective in approximately 50% of cases. However, in the short time Laura has been working with acupressure, she has had some level of success with each client.
Through her schooling and practicing this modality, Laura has helped calm chronic and acute back pain, shoulder issues, knee problems, muscle tightness, neck discomfort, and numbness. Although she considers herself a novice, she believes there are many more people she can help after seeing the success she has had so far.
