INFORMED CONSENT

Many parents do not feel prepared to discuss vaccines with their child's doctor. This class will help prepare you for that conversation!  Participants will have the opportunity to have true, informed consent concerning vaccines. We will discuss schedules, rights, vaccines, ingredients, risks/benefits of vaccinating and of each disease process, as well as how to detox after vaccines. You will be provided with handouts that will include the facts discussed as well as the references to back them up. This class is intended to be a safe place for people of all beliefs and views to have the opportunity to ask questions and learn. Respect for others and their views is a requirement to attend this class. 

NUTRITION AND GUT HEALTH

Nutrition and gut health play major roles in our overall quality of life.  In this class we will explore the history of our food, the effects it has on our bodies, how pH changes our approach, and how we can make realistic changes towards a healthier lifestyle.  Nutrition is directly related to gut health and because of this we will take a dive into how gut health affects the body, how to support your digestive organs, and how to get the most nutrition out of your food. We will also discuss how to do a pantry makeover! 

NATURAL FIRST AID AND ILLNESS PREVENTION

One of the most common questions providers get from parents is "when do I take my child to the ER?"  This class dives deep into illness, natural interventions you can do at home, and signs that indicate an ER trip is warranted. We will also discuss natural first aid remedies to have on hand, how to use them appropriately, and how to boost the immune system to support the body's natural defenses against illness. 

When hosting a class, you will have the opportunity to have our integrative provider at your service to educate on the class topic you have chosen. Above, are the current topics Laura is teaching about. If you do not see the topic you want, please send an email with your suggested topic - Laura takes these into consideration for future classes. She has a heart for educating as she has seen first-hand that this is the most effective way to empower people toward achieving their optimal health. Each class is approximately 2 hours long:​
